SLT-02 Syringe Leak Tester

Application

The prevention of air leakage past the syringe plunger stopper during aspiration is crucial to ensure accurate dosing and patient safety. Test Principle

The syringe nozzle is connected to a compatible connection pipe and the syringe partially filled with water. A negative pressure is applied through the nozzle, and the syringe inspected for leakage past the plunger stopper and seal(s) and to determine if the plunger stopper becomes detached from the plunger.

System

The SLT-02 Syringe Leak Tester is composed of a control machine with a support and tube for fixing the syringe.  After compressed air is introduced into the control unit,  working by the venturi tube, the system will create a controlled vacuum in the syringe.
