Test Principle

The tester consist of four groups of two flat circular discs that are 90mm in diameter. The initial distance between the discs is 200mm.

The flat film of 200mm by 280mm is mounted on two circular discs, via hose clamps to form film into a tube like shape. The movable mandrel imparts a rotational motion combined with translation, thus repeatedly twisting and compressing the film.
